Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember Exclusive Set By Heffy Doodle

Hello and welcome!

We’re so pleased to be sharing in the excitement of STAMPtember® with our friends at Simon Says Stamp! Today at Heffy Doodle, we’re thrilled to share with you a stamp set called "More Than Smores"created exclusively for this event and only available while supplies last! There is also a coordinating die set and you can purchase them as a bundle or separately!
Here’s my card. I absolutely love the sentiments and critters of this cute fall stamp set. Especially the little add-ons like the little leaves, pumpkins, pumpkin spice latte are so fun.
For my card, I created a watercolor background using distress inks. I colored the images using ZIG clean color brush markers. And of course, I couldn't resist using the leaves for some movement.

Check out the Heffy Doodle Blog to see more inspiration by the rest of the team. Have a nice weekend!!!

STAMPtember® Party Celebrations: Simon Says Stamp

Hello friends!!! STAMPtember is here YAY!!!! AND it's a party today. I'm so excited to join the EPIC party to celebrate! Simon’s STAMPtember® release is going to knock your socks off :)
There is a ton of inspiration for which you can find the links at Simon Says Stamp blog, so do check it out. There are some awesome promotions and new releases every day so mark your calendar for the whole month :)
There is fun free gift code for you too!!

For my card I used the newly released Simon Says Stamp BIG PICTURE BOOK FOX Wafer Dies. I love their picture book die collection so much. So this cute and adorable fox is the focus of my card. I colored him using copic markers and added googly eyes for fun :) I used various colors of distress inks to create the background. I then stamped the Simon Says Fractile Leaves in the background. I die-cut this panel using Simon Says Wonky Rectangle die

Hope you join in the STAMPtember fun! Have a nice day :)

Embossing!! Simon Says Stamp Flickr Challenge Guest Designer

Hello crafty friends!!!
So excited and honored to be a guest over at Simon Says Stamp Flickr Challenge 98 sponsored by Simon Says StampThe theme is "Embossing". Thank you Barb and SSS for having me over :)
I love Simon's gorgeous products and they are so versatile too. I don't know about you but I like to stretch my supplies whenever I can so when I got the theme, I decided to work with techniques and stretch my products. I took out some of the new and old products and started creating. Here is how below:

Card 1
I used the Heart Stream die here and instead of using it for die-cutting, I embossed using it. I then used the back side of this embossed impression piece. Love the raised effect. I then die-cut the hearts from the Holiday Shapes die. It's amazing how it fits perfectly inside the Heart Stream die. I used Zig Clean color brush markers to add color to the hearts in a rainbow color order. Adhered them inside the raised parts. To finish I die-cut the sentiment from gold mirror cardstock using the Happy Birthday die. A clean and simple card, perfect for a birthday :)

Card 2

For this card, I used one of my favorite SSS stencil and rather than using it as a stencil, I used it for dry embossing. It gives a subtle raised effect, you can see it in the close up better. Here are the products I used for my card.Stamp: Cloudy Sky's, Tilted Banner Sayings; Die: Picture Book Lion, You word die, Clouds; Stencil: Mosaic Heart Stencil

I embossed using the stencil and then applied some distress oxide inks to it. (check for the colors HERE, HERE and HERE) I then die-cut the Picture Book Lion image (Oh! love them all), sponged various distress inks. Now for the grass, I went a bit creative. I didn't have any of the SSS hills or grass so I used the cloud stamp and dies to create the grassy bushes :) AND that is what I meant by versatile... aren't these products versatile?

check out the embossed detail using the stencil :)

Card 3

Now for this card I used dies for embossing as well as traditional embossing using watermark ink and embossing powder.
I used:
For the coloring I used the Zig Clean color brush markers and some distress oxide inks for the background.

And now it's your turn to create! Check out the rules and prizes at Simon Says Stamp Flickr Challenge 98. Looking forward to see your creations :) Have a happy crafty weekend!!

Merry Christmas: Simon Says Guest Designer

Hello everyone! I am so happy and excited to be guest designing with Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge this month.

Today we are sharing Christmas cards featuring Simon Says Stamps Dies

I used the stacked stars die to create the falling stars on my card. I then adhered it to the sponged mat layer. I love the look of colors peeking through the black cardstock. This in-laid die-cutting did take a bit of effort but the results are so worth it.

Since I had this AWESOME sentiment out, I created another card. It is not on challenge theme but I couldn't stop myself. Look how adorable this cute penguin looks :)
