Hope your day is Awesome

Hello All!! So today was kind of a productive day for me. I saw a few challenges which really gave me a start :), I could create a few cards.

First up is a card, I created this card for the Tuesday Trigger at Moxie Fab World (I was inspired by the curves, flowers, ceramic. I tried to give the ceramic look to the pot) Now there is another photo which inspired me to use these specific flowers. That is the Runway inspired Challenge photo. I was inspired by the bunch of tiny flowers blending into each other, the colors and that tiny touch of pink on the top of her dress.

I used some stamps by Art Impression watercolor line and stamped using distress inks.

Love these stamps, so easy to work with and the result is awesome!

Supplies:
Cardstock: Bazzill Card shoppe, (watercolor paper) Canson; Stamps:  (WC project series 9, Flower set, Foliage set) Art Impression, (Tilted Banner sayings) Simon Says Stamp; Dies: (Tilted Banner sayings) Simon Says Stamp; Inks: (Distress inks) Ranger Industries

Hello October

Yay!!! Its 1st. of October already!!! I love this month, actually there are many reasons for it. I love Fall...the fall colors gives me a great feeling and today I even noticed the colors of the leaves of Trees changing around me :)

So what makes October so special...well this is the month, I got married, my Anniversary month ...lol

Now, since its the first of the month, its the time for a new Challenge at the Scraphouse Inspirational Blog. This month the theme is Halloween/Purple. I played with the color. Its been some time that I didnt use my distress inks to color my background, so I took out the Spring distress ink in Lilac and created the tone on tone background. Love it in Real. I used this cute image from Stamping Bella called Wasabi....she is so cute.

The colors look more towards blue in the picture thou.
I am playing along the challenge at Anni's blog as she is celebrating and its all about CAS creations.

All the supplies are available in the Scraphouse Store and Marjolein has lots of new things for Christmas too. Start shopping girls:)

Supplies: Casrdstock: White (Holtz); Stamp: Stamping Bella (Wasabi), Sentiment (Sentiment); Dies: PTI (Tag); Inks: Ranger Distress Ink (Shaded Lilac: Spring Collection), Memento (Black); Ribbon: May Arts (Sheer white); Colors: Copics; Rhinestones

Thanks Sweetie!

Got to love that sweet sentiment. I am quickly popping in to share this card with you all. I am feeling kind of tired and not so well, so while resting colored this stamp. Love this cutie from Stamping Bella.

I used Copics to color as I got some new colors and some new stuff, hope to get time to play as September somehow got very busy. Its my Birth month too, so extra special for me. Talking about special Cathy @ Bright side blog is having a sweet, generous and superb giveaway. Head over and have a look.
I am submitting this card at the Simon says blog Stamptember challenge: Put a Stamp on.

Moxie Fab World: Card Design Handbook: Asymmetry (Although the focal point is on the right but to me it seems to balance out with the pattern paper, which is showing more on the left and the sentiment on Red, creates more weight n balances this design. What's your opinion?)

From Me to You

I know...I know, its been ages since I last posted on my blog but holidays with 2 girls at home makes it so difficult to have the ME time...at times they play as if they are the best pals, yet another moment it's like having 2 fighting Cats at home:) It was fun thou...we took a short break to the Alps and it was just beautiful all around. It was a wonderful place, I will share some photos later.

Now onto my card, I used my new Penny Black stamp...love this flower. I colored it using Copics, layered it...put it inside the embossed frame. I even colored my Card base using the new Summer distress ink picked Raspberry and Worn Lipstick. It looks so pretty in real.

I am submitting this card for the challenges:
Penny Black Saturday: Use 2 images (I used the flower and the sentiment)
A Blog Named Hero: Freestyle
Designed to color: Day 7 (CAS)

The supplies are all available at the Scraphouse shop. Talking about it, you still have time to play along the current challenge at the Scraphouse blog.

I also want to share with you all to mark your calenders for the week starting 13th. August as we are having a fun Release week at Lil' Inker Designs, with 3 new cool stamps from the 2 Cute line and 3 new stamps from the The New Sugar Kissed Cottage line. You sure will love it.

Scraphouse July Challenge

It's 1st. of July, which means a new monthly challenge at the Scraphouse Inspiration Blog. This month we have a color theme:
Blue and White, so you need to use only blue in your creations. Here is what I created:

I used the Penny Black stamp set and used the distress resist technique. Colored in the flowers over the resist background using the same shades of blur distress inks. I used some pearly spritz for the lovely and delicate shine which is difficult to capture in a photo.

To finish some blings and Stardust stickles. All the supplies are available at the Scraphouse shop.

I am submitting this card for the Stamp It challenge at Moxie Fab World: Thank you and
Penny Black at all Sorts : Summer Blooms

Thanks for dropping by.

Its your Birthday

Happy Monday Peeps!!! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I had a nice one with lots of Laundry and cleaning....AND I could also make a few cards....nothing can be better than that...lol.

I made this card for the sketch challenge at The SSD blog. I have been thinking about it for some time now but somehow always would forget to post on time. I love Polka dots and actually my elder daughter is a die hard FAN of Polka dots...lol. So this is an entry to one of my favorite challenge blogs: Cas-ual Fridays Challenge blog.

For my card, I stamped the image using second generation stamping technique and then colored over it with color pencils.

All the supplies are available at the Scraphouse shop, which I will link below. Just to remind the Bingo Challenge is still up...drop by and play along.

Talking about, linking, did you check the Link Manager tool by InLinkz? It's a great tool by Vicky and her husband. It makes linking the supplies so much easier and fun! Vicky is having a fun challenge at her blog.
