Hello everyone!! I got this stamp recently and had to use it immediately :) So, I stamped it. Picked my faber-castell watercolor pencils some Imagine Craft/ Tsukineko inks and created this card. Now I got inspired by 2 of my favorite challenges
Moxie Fab World: Fabulous Friday colorful clock challenge (I got inspired by all the colors and round shape with a bit of black too. Well didn't have any clock image to play with:)
Paper Smooches Sparks Picture Perfect challenge (I got inspired to watercolor seeing those brushes, flower and of coarse the wood, I used my Champagne embossing powder for that)
Playing along with the Virginia's view challenge: It's all about shaped cards and she has some awesome examples for that :)
So, I did some no line water-coloring and am really happy with the result. I let the coloring and this lovely sentiment be focus of my card, so I didn't use any sequins, which I was really tempted to use...lol. What do you think??
A little sidenote: If I were to make videos, what would you like to see me create? More later!! ;)

One Layer scene!
Hello everyone....my next card is for Some Odd Girls inspiration post. I created this card as part of my homework for the Day 3(Optical Illusion) of Online Card Class Clean and Simple 3. Love this lesson by Julie Ebersole...I still have to do my homework for few lessons, unfortunately, I got sick :(
So I used a bit of stamping and masking to create my scene.
Love the effect. I hope you will too. More later as I have to finish a lot of pending posts before I start loosing my energy :)

A Mix Media Canvas
Hello Everyone!!! Today I am sharing a mixed media canvas with you all. I completely lost myself while creating it :) Why??? Cos I really enjoyed the process. Today is my 2nd post at Eclectic Paperie as their Guest Designer for January. I would like if you leave me some love at there blog..
I created the background using gesso, gelatos and some creative medium. I used this lovely stencil by TCM. Now once I put the embossing paste through the stencil, I was lost as there are so many different textures in this one and I wanted to use all...lol
So, I stared at it for some time and could see these flowers forming...and that was the start of a new beginning :) Finally, I used some gold StazOn ink to enhance them and then used some of the Faber-Castell Pitt pens for more dimension. I then cut the vellum and pattern paper using my new Paper Smooches die. Using white embossing powder, embossed the sentiment. Inked around the sentiment piece and those tiny butterflies.Adhered everything together and then I could say that I just love the final result. Here is the finished piece:
Playing along the challenge at Simon Says Wednesday Challenge: "EMBOSS IT" I used Embossing paste!
I am also joining the challenge at Simon Says Monday challenge as the theme is Anything Goes and I love the creations by the DTs.
I will be writing the supplies later!

Decorating a Mirror using Mix Media
Hello Everyone!!
I am sharing a project today, which I forgot to share on the blog :) Today I want to show you how to create a simple Mirror using various techniques using Gelatos®,Stamper’s Big Brush Pens, PITT® Artist Pen, Gesso, Gel Medium and Glaze.
It's really fun playing with all the various products and experimenting ways to combine them.
Here's a photo of the finished project:
Here's a photo of the finished project:
This is how I created it:
I applied Gesso to the wooden frame and let it dry.
Next, I stippled some Gesso onto the stencil using the stippling brush that comes in the Tool kit.
Stamped the Girl images onto a tissue paper and let it dry. (it takes a while to dry!)
Adhered the images onto the base using Gel Medium. It gives a matt finish.
Next, I colored the images using various colors. To make the girls pop, I made a shadow effect using the grey Gelato. All these various mediums blend beautifully. Love this quality of Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft products!
Now I rubbed some Gelato over the stencil and blended it using Gesso, which gives a soft look and a bit of dimension too. Beautiful effect and texture in real life.
Stamped the sentiment and other images. I doodled a bit onto the edges to define them.
Once finished, I applied a layer of Glaze so nothing will get smudged when you touch it.
AND!!! The finished mirror is ready to be decorated in my daughter's wall. Hope you give some of these techniques a try :)
PS. if you don't have a mirror, you could also create a photo frame using these steps.
Supplies:
Gelatos® (Aqua Dolce, Squid Ink, Banana, Bubble Gum, Cotton Candy, Guava, Lavender, metallic red)
Stamper’s Big Brush Pen (Greens, Black, Reds, Neutrals, Yellows, Cobalt Turquoise, White)
PITT Artist Pen (Black)
Gelatos® Tool Set
Stamp: Penny Black (Hello Gorgeous), Unity Stamp Company (Fashionistas - Roxanne, Fashionistas - Anastasia, Empowered words)
I am leaving to visit my family, so as I wrote before there wouldn't be much happening here but I have some exciting news coming soon :) Can't wait to share!!!!

So today, I'd like to share a project featuring few of my favorite products from Faber-Castell - Gelatos® and Stamper's Big Brush Pens. This fun image I used is from Penny Black as soon as my daughter saw it, she asked me to make a mermaid for her. So I tried to give a effect as if a mermaid is coming out of water....lol . Here is my mixed media Canvas and some quick steps to show you how I created it!
Here's a photo of the finished project:
This is how I created it:
I applied Gesso to the canvas and let it dry. Now I visually marked the area to make a frame around my image. Then, I rubbed Gelatos® all over it and blended it using my fingers.
Once, I was happy with the effect, I just applied a bit of gesso to soften it. Apply some more Gelatos® where you want. Now I applied some Gelatos® on the frame area, blended it.
I then, masked the center part and stamped the Hair part of the image repeatedly using black Big Brush Marker onto the frame.
I then stamped the images on tissue paper using Black Big Brush Marker.
The I applied some Gel medium to the canvas and adhered the stamped images.
Once dry, I colored in using Big Brush Markers.
For the depth around the frame, I applied some brown Big Brush Marker and blended using my finger. These markers blend beautifully over Gelatos®
Lastly to finish, I just applied a bit of Golden ink from my inkpad.
AND!!! The finished canvas is ready to be decorated in my daughter's wall. Hope you give some of these products and techniques a try :)

Card using Gelato and Stamper’s Big Brush Pen
Hello Everyone!!! Today it's my turn to create and post at Faber-Castell Design Memory blog. I created a Card using Gelato and Stamper’s Big Brush Pen.
Here is a peek of my creation and if you would like to see how I created it, just check Here.
Here is how I created it!
This is how it will look.
This is how it looks after stamping. You can see where I removed the ink.
I then scribbled some green Gelatos®, misted with water and colored the leaf die cut.
Finally, I inked the flower using Stamper’s Big Brush Pen, huffed it 3 times before stamping. If you huff more than once, it gives a nice watercolor look.
Here is a peek of my creation and if you would like to see how I created it, just check Here.
Here is how I created it!
First, I scribbled some Gelatos® onto the craft sheet and misted some water. Then, I put a watercolor paper onto the color and pressed it. Now, let it dry.
This is how it will look.
Now, I just stamped the woodgrain background stamp using a Stamper’s Big Brush Pen onto this piece. After applying the ink, I took a baby wipe and removed some of the ink from here and there.

Finally, I inked the flower using Stamper’s Big Brush Pen, huffed it 3 times before stamping. If you huff more than once, it gives a nice watercolor look.
To finish off, I just stamped the sentiment using the black Big Brush Pen.
I hope I could inspire you to mix and match of whatever products you have at hand.

Watercolor Background Cards
Hello All!!!
Today, I am sharing some tips to create some backgrounds and stamping and coloring using Gelatos and Big brush Markers over at Faber-Castell Design Memory blog. I am pretty sure you will like the CAS cards I created. Check it out HERE.
Today I want to share how to create simple yet beautiful backgrounds and how to stamp and color using Gelatos® and Stamper’s Big Brush Pens.
I can say it again: the color code system by Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft® makes it easy to mix and match various products for the desired effect :)
I created two Clean and Simple cards for today.
Card 1:

This is how I created it:

I then took a piece of watercolor paper and put it directly over this droplets of color. After that, I just flipped the paper and there I have a beautiful marbled effect background. While I was at it, I created 2 of them (I used the other one for my 2nd card)
Now, I simply stamped the Poppy flower by Penny Black stamps onto my base.
Fussy cut the flowers and adhere it over the stamped panel and stamp the sentiment.
Card 1:

This is how I created it:

For the background, I just scribbled some white PITT artist pen and Blue Big Brush Marker directly over my craft mat and misted with water using a mini mister. Then, I mixed the both colors using the back (the wooden tip) of a paint brush.
Now, I simply stamped the Poppy flower by Penny Black stamps onto my base.
I then scribbled some of the Big Brush Pen and added a bit of water. Flicked some onto this panel.
Onto another paper, I embossed the same image. Now I applied 2 shades of gelatos and rubbed them with my fingers to blend from light to dark. Then I used PITT markers add some depth and blended it with my finger just by tapping it a bit. These PITT broad markers blend beautifully over Gelatos. Now to give more life to the flowers, just add a dot of white artist pen over the area to highlight it and tap with the finger (Tip: White artist pen dries quicker than other pens, so always blend each stroke immediately )
Card: 2
I created the background same as above. Once my background was dry, I simply stamped it repeatedly using this beautiful Ikat stamp by Avery Elle. I used the Big Brush Marker to stamp. Just huff once after applying the ink to the stamp.
To finish just stamp the sentiment using black PITT big brush pen.
Supplies:
Card 1:
Gelatos® (Guava, Blood Orange, Pistachio)
Stamper’s Big Brush Pen (Greens, Black, Cobalt Turquoise, Pale Geranium Lake, White)
Stamp: Penny Black (Blooming Garden, Edge to Edge)
Card 2:
Stamper’s Big Brush Pen (Black, White, Cobalt Turquoise)
Stamp: Avery Elle (Ikat), Penny Black (Nature's wishes)
I used some stamps by Penny Black and Avery Elle for my creations. Thanks Piali/Anushka for the Ikat stamp. Love it :)
