RG: Planner Love

Hello Everyone, today I have a fun planner page and divider using the new Silver and Gold collection by Richard Garay. I also used some products by Fun Stampers journey. I love this Rose Gold planner from FSJ and the florals from the new collection made it so easy to create my pages.

Now I created this page for a week before Mother's day as that is when my daughters want to prepare some of the things for me.

Here are some steps to create this card:

to create the divider, I used watercolor cardstock. I then spritz some Cool Pool color splash onto it. Once dry, I sponged Beach Ball ink over it.
I then took the stencil and applied some more of the blue ink through it.
I then spritz some silks onto this piece and let it dry.

I then die-cut the flowers and leafy vine and created my cluster. To finish, I added some enamel accents onto the flower centers.

I then created the vellum pocket and applied some ink onto it using the same blue color.

For the pin, I simply adhered the die-cut flower and leaf. For the center I colored the mat white make amazing accent dot in teal and adhered it to the center.

For the other side of the pocket, I used this photo of my daughters with me from our recent trip to Colmar. I layered some patterned papers from the Origami love collection. The colors match perfectly with the theme :) I decorated using some more die-cut flowers.

To decorate the page, I first stamped the brush stroke from the Celebration collection and then stamped some washi stamps by FSJ. I then stamped and embossed the flowers onto vellum, colored them using the pencil colors.

I then die-cut the word loving, which come with the FSJ Amaze machine. I sponged some teal, mint and blue ink for the ombre effect.

I used the pretty Gel pens by FSJ to write my to do. Love the colors of these pens.

RG: Origami Love collection

Hello Everyone, today I have a fun card to share created with the very new Origami Love collection by Richard Garay. It has all the playful and colorful fun elements. Totally adorable :) This collection is so versatile but for today, I decided to create tags.

To create this, I  first sponged inks onto a piece of whip cream cardstock. I then added some splatters using the silk lustre.
Then I took the smallest rectangle die and die-cut a piece of cs to create a window. I then adhere clear view sheet to the back of the window.
Then I applied some adhesive to the sponged piece and adhered some Star Fetti.
Then I stamped the sentiment onto the clear view window and adhered the butterflies.
Finally, I made holes on the top of the pieces and tied them together using the silver Twine.

Here is a close-up :)

Love You!

Hello everyone!

Today I am sharing a project using the new "LumberJack Days" by Richard Garay. This is a fun, trendy, masculine theme line with a touch of Romantic side. It has lovely floral dies too and I used those to create my project for today.

Here I have a step by step photo tutorial for you :)

Mark the flowers using the dies, so we can sponge inks.

Once sponged, die-cut them. Add Journey Glaze at the edges and add Journey sparkle dust.

Now using the embossing tool attachment of the journey bloom tool, emboss the flower petals for some 3D effect.

Adhere the silver metal dot in the center. and the flower is ready.

Die-cut the banner shape and apply journey glaze and the sparkle dust to the edges.

Stamp and emboss the sentiment. I used masking as I just used part of the sentiment. Cut a banner strip and assemble everything as the photo above.

I also decorated the lid of my jar.

Die-cut whipped cream cardstock. Sponge inks to 2 of the rings. Stamp and emboss the sentiment. I used only Love You part from the sentiment. By masking the sentiment I get more use out of it :)

This is how it looks in the close-up.

Hope you got inspired to use parts of your patterned paper to create focal point of your card.

Amazing You!

Hello everyone!
Today I am sharing a project using the new RG retail line "Make Amazing" by Richard Garay. This is a fun, trendy collection with the watercolor effect. You can check the catalog HERE. This collection has beautiful florals too, which I used today.
I used the flowers and leaves to create an entire background. It is so easy to create watercolor effect using these stamps.

Here is a close up:

Here are a few steps on how to create the watercolor effect

Stamp the flower using Worn Lipstick Distress Ink. Apply a little water to the stamped area using a damp brush. Let it dry slightly.

Once it's slightly dry, stamp the same flower again using picked Raspberry DI. Using a damp brush, dab the ink slightly.

Stamp the leaves using Cracked Pistachio DI. Apply a little water to it. Dab some Peacock Feathers ink to an acrylic block and apply a little ink onto the lower pars of the wet leaf. Let dry.

Once dry, stamp the leaf over the previously stamped image using Cracked Pistachio ink. This defines the leaves more.
Now dab some mustard seed DI and black soot ink onto an acrylic block. Apply a little to the centers of the flowers. (Sorry my photo didn't come clear for this step).

Once the background panel is ready, die-cut it using the Pierced Rectangle die. Now die-cut this panel using the medium sized Pierced Word bubbles die.
Die-cut a piece of vellum using the same bubble die.
Make card from whipped Cream cardstock. Adhere the bubble die-cut piece by positioning it using the mat layer.
Stamp and emboss the sentiment onto the vellum. Adhere it onto the bubble die-cut piece. (Tip: Apply glue only to the back part behind the embossed area, to prevent glue to show through. )
Apply 3D foam tape to the mat layer and adhere it onto the base.

Hope this inspires you to create wonderful watercolor effect using stamps.
