One Layer scene!

Hello everyone....my next card is for Some Odd Girls inspiration post. I created this card as part of my homework for the  Day 3(Optical Illusion) of Online Card Class Clean and Simple 3. Love this lesson by Julie Ebersole...I still have to do my homework for few lessons, unfortunately, I got sick :(
So I used a bit of stamping and masking to create my scene.

Love the effect. I hope you will too. More later as I have to finish a lot of pending posts before I start loosing my energy :)

Hello!!

2nd. post of the day!! YAY!!!
For my Timeless Twine creation please click HERE!

It was a very productive day today, I did a lot of household work and then I made 2 cards for the Online Card Class Clean and Simple 3. This is an amazing class for sure. Debby taught the inlay die-cutting and I had this idea. Although this was a very time consuming one with a lots of details n masking but I am really happy with the result. Best of it, it's a flat card and yet have dimension.

Supplies:
Dies: (Fancy Florals) Clearly Besotted, (hello word die) Simon Says Stamp; Ink: (Memento Luxe - Black, Firework Spray - blue, Shimmer spritz Gold and frost) Imagine Crafts/ Tsukineko; Foil paper - DCWV

Love U Always

I made this card using the sketch from Day 1 of the Clean and Simple Class.

I am also submitting it for the Moxie Fab die cutting challenge and ICRC 14

I did some faux stitching using Red pen to balance out the glittery red U and the bling. I am happy with the result and hope you like it too. I love the monochromatic and clean feel of it, which I was inspired by the challenge at Sirstampalot challenge blog.
Thanks for dropping by.

Perfectly Flat cards

I made these for the Day 2 of my Clean and Simple class with Julie. Submitting it to the ICRC14 challenge.

Thou the first card was a bit time consuming because of fine details, I am so much pleased with it. I am submitting this card for the Monochromatic challenge at Sirstampalot challenge blog.

For the 2nd. card I used pencil colors on gray paper.

Thanks for dropping by.

Online Card Class

Finally I got time to make some cards for the Clean and Simple Online Card Class. Its already day 4 but better late then never. I am really enjoying it but somehow not getting enough time to create.
So here is the card for the Class 1 using the sketch by Kristina.

I used 2 stamps from the Valentine Flourish set from Hero Arts to create the masked background. It looks really pretty IRL. Thanks for dropping by.

Smile

Why do I have this title?? Well I am feeling so many emotions right now. Today is the final day of my Inspiration class with Jennifer. It was a fun, informative and learning experience. So now that its over...I am feeling kind of sad but happy at the same time. Seeing my creation with all the techniques on the canvas is giving me a smile. Thanks Jennifer and the guests for this creative journey.
Here is what I created and its going to go on my wall. I chose to write smile as this is what my first expression was:)
Hope you enjoy seeing it. I truly enjoy creating it.  Pls. click on the photo for a better view. I will be posting a few close ups tomorrow as the weather didn't give me company today:)
Have a nice weekend.

Thanks

I made this card using the technique called Trap Embossed Resist. I used it a few times but did not know what it is called. Now, thanks to Jennifer I have a name:)
I am submitting this for the challenge at Wee Memories: No Pattern Paper
Simon Says Stamp blog: Use of Dies and Punches.

Thanks for peeking in:)

Best wishes

Another card I made for the Online Inspiration class with Jennifer. I used distress inks and dry embossing. I made this Accordion flower myself, which was fun and love the result. I really like using these colors together. This card is for the challenge at Wee Memories blog: NO Pattern Paper and Simon says Stamp blog - use of Dies and punches
To finish some gems here and there and a PTI sentiment:)
Thanks for dropping by.

Canvas Resist

Canvas Resist: Love love the effect on canvas. I love the colors, the pearly shine of it. I will try to take better pictures tomorrow, if possible. I am entering it to the Lily pad blog challenge.

Lots of distress inks, pearly water. Thanks for dropping by.

Resist again

Onto the second card using the paint resist technique this time.
Absolutely love the effect of the pearl paint. I really like this technique a lot. Looks beautiful in real. My entry at Lily Pad Blog.

I can't resist the Resist

Well that's true!! Its simply impossible for me to resist the resist. So as part of my very first cardmaking class (Inspiration Showcase by Jennifer Mcguire) I made these 3 cards today...the 4th. one is not yet finished. The pictures doesn't do justice to my cards:(

I am submitting this for the challenge at Lily pad blog.

Traditional Resist: I did not have the glossy paper. so I tried on Glossy mat paper and am rather pleased with the result. Its such a nice ghostly image:)

Thanks for dropping by and leaving some love.
