Now is the season of B'days for me in the neighbourhood, so created some cards. I will share 2 with you now. I used the sketch from
practicing Creativity.....love love their Stamps but dont own any...
Got some more ideas but no time.Since the challenge at
Simon says....is anything goes, I am submitting these cards for the challenge at their Blog too.
My take No. 1
Supplies: Ranger Distress inks, Vellum, Stamps all from Hero Arts
For the center panel, I did some distress resist on watercolor paper and spritzt some pearl water( difficult to capture). I then stamped the HeroArts border stamp on Vellum and adhered on the card. I then stamped the sentiment and adhered the Lilac Twine from The Twinery. Love the yumm colors. I colored the butterflies with copics and used some crackle paint, maybe the fine cracks would be visible in the closeups.
To finish some Pearls.
My 2nd. Card:
Supply: Color Box Chalk Ink, Stamps- Hero Arts and Cloud 9 Bling from Pizzazaplenty...
I realized that today both the cards are around Lilac color scheme...So I took some Lilac card. Turned the sketch and stamped another of the Hero Arts border stamp and embossed in white. Adhered some Lilac and Honeydew Twine. I stamped the Sentiment from Cloud 9 stamp in deep purple.
To finish some Blings, and edged the card with white ink. TFL
