Here is what I created using the iron off embossing technique:







I stamped the image using VersaMark ink and emboss it using white embossing powder. Now I also want to introduce you to our Tack n Peel. It's amazing stuff, esp. for the stamp which are not mounted. You can re-use it no. of times. Love this product.


Then I sponged some Memento dye ink using our dauber.
Now, I used a hot iron and put copy paper over my embossed piece and removed the embossing powder. love the soft effect.
For the Guitar, I stamped it using VersaMark ink and embossed using our Verdigris embossing powder onto a piece of vellum. Love this color.
Fianally, I stamped the sentiment using Memento Luxe ink and assembled everything together as in the card photo.

Oh, very cool technique! I love the creative text for the word smile. I tried typing it that way but it didn't look so good as on your card. lol Awesome inspiration here!

I hadn't heard of removing the embossing powder before. I'm going to try that. it does make for a great background. the guitar is very glittery. thanks for sharaing

Awesome card! Love these stamps that you used and that you mentioned the tack n peel. I need to get this because my unmounted stamps just do not get used...because I have not mounted them on cling foam... Thanks for sharing.

Verdigris is my all-time favourite embossing powder colour, and looks awesome on the guitar! Amazing background, too.
