Studio Katia: Birthday Card with No-Line Coloring Technique

Hello everyone! Today I am sharing a summer theme card using no-line copic coloring technique on Studio Katia Blog.

I started by die-cutting a white layer using the Scallop Hearts Cover Die. I then sponged yellow distress ink to it. Now, I put the Heart-Fetti Stencil over it and sponged the same ink. I stamped the floral cluster from Aloha Stamp using Antique Linen distress ink and colored it using copic markers. I really like how pretty these florals look. I then added some depth using colored pencils. Stamp the sentiment to the panel. Adhere this panel to a white cardbase. Adhere the florals to the card.

To finish, I added some Sunny Topaz Crystals. This is a beautiful mix of yellows .Thank you for dropping by! Have a nice crafty day!

Studio Katia: Layering Stencils!

Hello everyone! Today I am on Studio Katia blog with a CAS one layer card with stencil layering technique. I layered Square Brick Stencil and Grid Stencil. They give a unique and lovely design when paired together :) AND we all love to stretch our supplies...right?

I started by layering the stencils. I put the Square Brick Stencil on top of the Grid Stencil and applied some masking tape to secure it. Check the layered stencil on Studio Katia's website.

I then applied some distress inks in rainbow colors though the stencil onto a white cardbase. I kept the faded effect towards the edges for added interest. Now, remove the stencils. Stamp and emboss the sentiment from the Blooming Bunch Stamp set. Cut a stripe and adhere it to the cardbase using 3D foam.

Tonic Studios Garden Party Blog Hop - Day 2

Hello Everyone! I am so excited to be part of today’s Garden Party blog hop, hosted by Tonic Studios to help celebrate their newest release! This is a small but exciting release and the aim is to introduce new modern and bright stamp designs tailored for versatility.

I have three cards for you today using new goodies from the Garden Party release, so let’s get started with the details!

For my first card I used the pretty Flora Background stamp along with the GORGEOUS Nuvo Shimmer Powder: Lilac Waterfall. This is such a pretty powder with multi-color effect.

 I stamped  and embossed the background image onto watercolor paper. I then added some of the Nuvo shimmer powder and spritz a little water.  Let this dry. Now, I added a light touch of blue, pink Faber-Castell  watercolor marker to few of the areas of the flowers. I then added a light wash of green watercolor in the background.  Now, I fussy cut the image as I wanted to create some movement to my card design. Stamp and emboss the sentiment.

These powders are so pretty in real life and have such a pretty and subtle shine...love love love.

Finally, I added some black splatters and adhered the card to a white cardbase. To finish, I added a few confetti by Studio Katia.

For my second project I used the pretty and delicate floral cluster from the Botanical Burst Stamp Set. 

Since I had the Nuvo Shimmer out and that I really love this color, I started by creating a background. I added some powder to a white cardstock, spritz water and put Tim Holtz Dot Fade stencil on it. Let dry. I then Stamped and embossed the floral cluster onto vellum. Added some colors using Faber Castell Polychromos pencils. One of my go to techniques. Adhere it to the mat layer.

I stamped and embossed the sentiment and adhered it to the card. I added a bit of thread behind the sentiment stripe.

Check out the pretty shimmer.

To finish, I added some confetti from Studio Katia.

For my last card, I had to color the pretty Peonies from the Peony Bloom stamp set.If you love coloring then you are going to adore this stamp set.

I started by applying some color wash to a stripe of white cardstock and let it dry. Meanwhile, I stamped the images onto watercolor paper using Antique Linen distress ink as I wanted to do some no-line watercolor to it. 

I colored the images using Faber Castell watercolor markers and fussy cut them. I adhered the stripe to a white card and added a few black and blue splatters. Adhered the flowers and stamped the sentiment.

Aren't those blooms pretty :)

Heffy Doodle: Hope your Day Is Marvellous

Hello Everyone! Today, I am sharing a sweet card using some pretty florals from the new release by Heffy Doodle!



I started by die-cutting a mat layer using stitched rectangle die. I then sponged a bit of twisted citron distress ink through the pinstripe stencil. I added a few black splatters to it. This will ground our images.

I stamped and die-cut the flowers. I love the shape of these flowers and leaves so much.I applied wink of stella clear glitter to add subtle shine to the florals.



Stamp the sentiment. Stamp and die-cut the word Marvellous and adhere to the card. To finish, I added a few confetti by Studio Katia.

Studio Katia: You're Amazing!

Hello everyone! today I have a pretty floral card on Studio Katia blog using masking and stencil technique. I created a layer and adhered it to a card base but this can easily be a one layer card.

I started by creating the mat layer. I cut it slightly smaller than the cardbase. I then masked the length of it to create a broad stripe. I then sponged some distress inks to it. Flick a bit of water and let dry. Now, I placed the "GRID" stencil and sponged some more ink through it. Remove the stencil and the mask. stamp the florals using black ink. I then stamp the florals onto another piece of cardstock and colored in using pencil colors. Fussy cut the flowers and adhere it to the panel. Flick some white paint to this panel. Once dry, adhere it to the cardbase.

Stamp and die-cut the sentiment and adhere using 3D foam.
