Smile
Why do I have this title?? Well I am feeling so many emotions right now. Today is the final day of my Inspiration class with Jennifer. It was a fun, informative and learning experience. So now that its over...I am feeling kind of sad but happy at the same time. Seeing my creation with all the techniques on the canvas is giving me a smile. Thanks Jennifer and the guests for this creative journey.
Here is what I created and its going to go on my wall. I chose to write smile as this is what my first expression was:)

I really like using these colors together. This card is for the challenge at Wee Memories blog: NO Pattern Paper and Simon says Stamp blog - use of Dies and punches
To finish some gems here and there and a PTI sentiment:)

Just Saying Hello
As part of my Online Inspiration class with Jennifer, I made this card using two of the techniques. Coloring the embossing folder before embossing and also embossing on Acetate. Its all about dry embossing and I have to say that I just love the effect. I used the lovely sketch from Lily Pad blog. This is my submission at Wee Memories Blog as the challenge is NO pattern paper and Simon says Stamp blog - use of dies or punches
I used Hero Arts Soft Pool Shadow ink on the Birds and Swirls Embossing folder. The Butterflies are cut with a MS Punch. I colored the butterflies using broken china, pine needle, faded jeans, crushed olive and peeled paint distress inks. Love the effect of embossed Acetate and all the dimension. The sentiment is from Hero Arts.
Hope you like what I created. It was so much fun and it looks just amazing in real.
Before I leave, I want you all to know about Vicky's amazing giveaway of 25$ for Simon says Stamp shop. Be sure to pop by her blog to see her amazing cards and videos.

Onto the second card using the paint resist technique this time.
Absolutely love the effect of the pearl paint. I really like this technique a lot. Looks beautiful in real. My entry at Lily Pad Blog.

I can't resist the Resist
Well that's true!! Its simply impossible for me to resist the resist. So as part of my very first cardmaking class (Inspiration Showcase by Jennifer Mcguire) I made these 3 cards today...the 4th. one is not yet finished. The pictures doesn't do justice to my cards:(
I am submitting this for the challenge at Lily pad blog.
Traditional Resist: I did not have the glossy paper. so I tried on Glossy mat paper and am rather pleased with the result. Its such a nice ghostly image:)
Thanks for dropping by and leaving some love.

Annabelle Birthday Celebration
I am just in time with my cards for the Annabelle Birthday Celebration challenges. I wanted to participate in all of them but could not get time to create. Finally I could make them today and am really happy to see the result. Scroll down to see all three. I used only Annabelle stamps here, love their fine quality.
Birthday Challenge#2
Birthday Challenge#1
'A 1, 2, 3 Recipe'
~ 1 New Stamp(or a stamp you have not inked up from a set)
~ 2 Die Cuts/Punch Shapes
~ 3 Bling(gems, pearls etc)
I dont have any stamp from the new release but this cute cat is a stamp, which I never used. I put some glossy accents on the Heart and some red twine to finish.
Birthday Challenge#2
The theme for this challenge is Blooms/flowers
Here I used a new resist technique, using glossy matt paper and distress ink with clear embossing ink. Love love this effect of background created by a single stamp. I am submitting this card for the distress challenge at Lily pad blog.

The first ever Lawnscaping Blog Hop
Hello everyone and Welcome to the first ever Lawnscaping Blog Hop. If you have arrived here from the talented Linda's blog then you are on the right track. If you want the complete list of participants, then go HERE to the Lawnscaping Blog.
This months theme is all about Holidays: Christmas, Halloween, Valentine...really magical. I adore Lawn Fawn stamps. Now most of you, like me also think they are cute and adorable but I say they are really versatile...I am keeping my post short today as you all have many blogs to visit. If you have any questions please leave them in the comment section and I will answer them.
So my first card is for those of you who feel it difficult to create fun cards but are really creative with the shabby style and mix media.Everything started here as white paper except the Ghosts and I used Happy haunting stamp set. Pls. click on the photos for a bigger and better look.
Check the close ups for the tiny details...they are plenty. Love the spooky feel and all the distressing, crackle, torn edges, embossing, distress inked background, dimension and tiny eyes on the bats, moon, etc....
Now my 2nd. card is well cute and adorable. I used two new sets (pa-rum-pa-pum-pum and Making frosty friends)Check out all the textures, paper-piecing, coloring, embossing, stitching and glossy accents. Love birds on the train ride thru the snow:)
Last but not least, there are lots of prizes including Lawn Fawn to win, so hop along and make sure to leave comments on all the blogs. You have until Sunday September 11th. For more details on the prizes go and check at the Lawnscaping blog.
Your next stop on the hop is the talented and creative Tamara's blog.
Since both the cards have embossing, I am submitting them to the challenge at the Lawnscaping blog too. Yes!! that's right you can participate in the bi-weekly challenges too. Love their challenges.
Thanks for hopping by and have fun.
