Mandala Design
Hello friends,
Blogger betrayed me as I had written a scheduled post which didnt work. I want to wish you all a belated holiday wishes and hope everyone had a fun time. Its a busy time as everyone has holidays till the 3rd...lol so I am enjoying it with hubby and kids...No cards therefore.
I got the cute Lawn Fawn stamp from my win. Thanks Kelly. My elder daughter played with it and made this cute tag for the texture challenge at Lawnscaping blog. She also wants to submit for the challenge at Wee memories and Simonsays... blog because the theme is anything goes.
She loves making Mandala and thats what she chose to create with the Lawn Fawn stamps "Say cheese and Love n Breakfast".
It has so many lovely textures:
The canvas embossed background, glitter in 2 different shades, glossy accents, the cupcake paper has a lovely texture as it is crumpled and then paper pieced and lastly the ruffled ribbon on the edges. Oh!! I feel so proud of her. Here is the tag and the closeup:
I am sure she is going to check my blog for comments on her creation;)

Runaway Inspired#1
Challenge inspired by Fashion...COOL... huh!!! Yes that's the new challenge blog called "Inspired By Fashion"
This is the very first inspiration photo.
I stamped the background using the stamp blocking technique. For the sequins, since its handwork, which is not always perfect, I made the flower using perfect pearl and some faux stitching. The sentiment is stamped with yellow and then clear embossed. Love the effect.
I am also submitting this for the challenge at All sort Challenge Blog: take 2 colors- I've used grey and yellow
Thanks for dropping by.

PS Sparks
I want to share these cards I made for the Paper Smooches Sparks challenge. I really liked the inspiration photo as soon as I saw it. So even thou I love their stamps, I used the free digi Paper Smooches offers as I dont own any of their stamps yet:)
My first thought was that Damask pattern in Oval frame on the powder blue wall which has kind of texture on the lower part. Then the additional colors: yellow and dark blue. I used some embossing for the texture, some resist on glossy paper, which actually came out really nice, chk. the damask background. I then scaled down the digi flower and used 3D foam for extra dimension and glossy accent in the flower centers.
The 2nd. thing which caught my attention in the photo is the table runner. So to give the texture and cloth feel, I did some hand embroidery. Again, the flowers were scaled down and colored using Copics.
This is my first time participating in the Paper smooches challenge. Pls. click on the photos for a clear view. I hope you like my creations as much as I enjoyed creating them.
I am submitting these for the challenge at All sorts Challenge Blog - I used blue and yellow color here.
TFL :)

Poppin by to say Hi...
After seeing this challenge at Moxie fab World, I thought, that I really create Hello or Thinking of you cards but since the challenge was up...I was all busy in creating Christmas cards.
The stamps are all Hero Arts, which I colored using Copics. I used the Alphabet set to make my sentiment.
Thanks for dropping by and letting me know what you think.
Let's Chill
Today I happen to think about summer as its been quite bad weather here. We are waiting for snow but it's rather raining all the time and the temperature is still hasn't reached negative. Warmest Nov. and December so far. So I started thinking about cocktails and then quickly whipped up this card. I am submitting it for the challenge at Moxie Fab World...cos I chose Alcoholic beverage...ha ha. Pls. click on the photo for a better view.
I used the stamps from Hero Arts and colored the images using Copics. It was so much fun.
Thanks for dropping by and leaving your love.
I am submitting this card for the challenge at Varna's blog.

Christmas Cards
Well yesterday I made some Christmas cards using a new set from my win. Its a Jane Doodles stamp set called Vintage Santa. Love it and the quality is amazing. Thanks Judith for sending me a lovely gift.
I got the inspiration by the photo at Simon says challenge blog, Santa, Music notes CAS and also Vintage. I am submitting these for the challenge at Wee Memories as its Free for all:) and The young crafters challenge blog which is to use dies.
I kept my first card CAS as I wanted this gorgeous image to speak for itself. I used pencil colors to color it.
My second card is a bit vintage. I colored the image with water colors and then some cracked glass effect. To finish some machine stitching.
Love both of them and hope you like them too. Thanks for dropping by and do write what you think.
