Studio Katia: Merry Christmas

Hello everyone!Today I am sharing a CAS shaker card on Studio Katia Blog using some of the new winter release goodies. I love the new Floral Snowflake Stencil so much and of coarse the snowflake stamp and dies. I decided to use just the die for my card today.

I started by applying some distress ink onto a white layer, through the stencil using the new ink blender brush. I really love the soft and even result we get with them. I then die-cut snowflake and adhered the cut snowflake to the cardbase. Now, I adhered acetate onto the back side of the panel.

Add some Frost and Fine glitter onto the snowflake on the card. Apply double sided tape around the snowflake and the cardbase. Adhere the panel to the card. This way, the card isn't bulky and is perfect for quick mailing. Flick some black splatters and let it dry.

I then die-cut the word Merry 3 times from white cardstock and once from glitter cardstock. I then added some color to the glitter word. Stack them all and adhere to the shaker window. Stamp and adhere the word Christmas.
To finish, I added some of the Icy Crystals.

Studio Katia Winter 2019 Release Blog Hop

For my card, I decided to use the stencil and highlight this GORGEOUS glitter from the new release.

I started by sponging some inks to a piece of white cardstock using the new blending brushes....I HAVE to tell you they are amazing. Perfect size and that the brush head is white so it's easy to see the colors on them. The soft bristles make it super easy to blend seamless.

I then placed the stencil on top and sponged some more inks. I then took a little transluscent embossing paste, mixed some sparkle glitter to it and applied a thin coating of this. Let this dry.

Now, I die-cut the window using the new cover die and adhered the center hexagon to its place on the cardbase. I then adhered vellum from behind to the mat layer and adhered it to the cardbase. I die-cut the word "Merry" 4 times and stacked them together. Adhered it to the panel. stamped the word Christmas and adhered the stripe. This card looks really pretty in real life. Full of sparkle.

Tonic Studios Wonderful Wishes Christmas Release Online Party!

Hello Everyone! I am so excited to be part of today’s Wonderful Wishes Online Party, hosted by Tonic Studios to help celebrate their newest release! 

I have two cards for you using the cute and adorable Snowman Snuggles stamp set.

Card 1 -  I started by adding some Lilac Waterfall Nuvo shimmer powder to a watercolor paper and sprayed little water. Let this dry. Love the mix of colors in this powder. I then 

stamped and embossed the image, colored it using various Nuvo Aqua Flow pens. Fussy cut it and then adhere to the card layer. Adhere this layer to the cardbase.

 Look at the lovely subtle shimmer of the powder :)

Card 2 - I stamped and embossed the image. I then stamped the snow and embossed using white puff powder. Apply various colors of Nuvo Aqua Flow pens and let this dry. I added some Midas Touch pen too and this gives a subtle shimmer. This is my favourite gold shimmer pen ever :)

I finished the card with stamping and embossing the sentiment.

Fun Stampers Journey: Stamp of the Month October

Hello everyone! It’s September and I'm so pleased to share Fun Stampers Journey's October Stamp Of The Month: Joyous Bird

I love this sweet and simple set with pretty images.I used the same images to create two different cards.
For the first card I used the FSJ Gold and Silver embossing powders onto the watercolor paper. I then heat embossed the background. Now I applied some FSJ Bubble Gum liquid water color using smooshing technique.

Stamp and emboss the sentiment. To finish, I adhered some Journey Sequence from Pink World.

For my 2nd. card, I stamped and embossed the images using white embossing powder. I then added the Bubble Gum and Lovely Blue Liquid colors.
Next, I stamped the sentiment onto a piece of white cardstock and finished the card by tying some pink twine.
