Here is what I created for you today. I got inspired by this painting. Love the vibrancy of Memento Luxe inks for this effect. It looks magical and mystical to me :)
Supplies: Stencil: (LJ 849 Bare trees) Dreamweaver; ; Embossing paste: Dreamweaver; Inks: (Memento Luxe - Love Letter, Lilac Posies, Dandelion, Morocco, Bahama Blue, Wedding Dress, Pear Tart, Rhubarb Stalk) Imagine Crafts Tsukineko; Embossing powder white: Imagine Ctrafts/ Tsukineko; Stamp: Hero Arts
How to:
Apply some embossing paste through the stencil. I love this palette knife by Dreamweaver. It's a good size to spread the paste. Now, you really have to be careful since this stencil is very fine. Else the paste with be everywhere on your project.
It looks like this once you remove the stencil. Let it dry.
Once dry, put the stencil back and then apply various colors of inks using a dauber. Memento Luxe is a highly pigmented mixed media ink, so it gives wonderful paint like feel along with the rich vibrant colors.
Finally, I stamped the sentiment and applied some Imagine Crafts white embossing powder. It's amazing and gives a wonderful detail look.
Here is a close-up of the effect. I took a wood veneer bird and applied the wedding dress ink onto it.
