Birthday Wishes

Hello Everyone!

I hope you all are enjoying your long weekend. For me it's gonna be a 2 week long holidays as the schools are having Spring break. With my girls at home and hubby taking a few days off....I am not sure how much time I will get to craft as I want to enjoy with everyone :)

I think I will be posting a few cards, which never made to the blog...lol

Anyhow, I got this lovely stamp by Penny Black and just had to color it :) I used some inks to color in the flowers....as you know my love for watercolor and also no-line coloring! Love how this card came along :)

Well, it's really busy at this end and from tomorrow starts 2 week school break...that means not much time for crafting. Anyhow, I needed a birthday card for my special neighbour and like me she loves Roses too :)
I have this beautiful stamp by Waltzingmouse "Old Country Roses" and I was in the mood to do some watercoloring, so here is what I came up with.
I used some inks to stamp the images and then using a bit of watercolor I went over the stamped images. Love the rich vibrant look. I used some Pretty Pink Posh sequins for the added sparkle :)

I got inspired by the challenge at Sparkle and Shine Blog (The flowers and the colors)
