Note Card holder

Hello everyone!

Today I am sharing a notecard holder using the new "Noteworthy collection" by Richard Garay. This is a fun, trendy theme with all the elements to reach out to people you care about!! Awesome isn't it. I love the colors and patterns of this collection. 

I do have a step by step tutorial on how to create this!

Cut a piece measuring 5.5 inch by 4.5 inch. Score as per the dimensions above.

Cut as shown above and the fold the score lines. Adhere liner tape to the outer most edges. 

Die-cut a patterned paper piece from the collection keeping it slightly smaller than the front of the pocket. Adhere. I also cut the monthly calendar into squares from the Noteworthy patterned paper. Mat it using the same yellow cardstock.

Adhere the pocket to the main flap (3 and half by 6 inch). Now Since I wanted to change the months easily, I applied some Velcro to the pocket and to the back of the calendar. Easy peasy...isn't it and very practical. I keep some notecards ready in the pocket, which I just hang beside my table. I mark the important birthdays or Anniversary to the monthly calendar. Just pick one notecard out...write the message n give it to the person/ mail it :)

Amazing You!

Hello everyone!

Today I am sharing a project using the new "Make Amazing Happen" collection by Richard Garay. This is a colorful, watercolor, floral theme line. It has pretty florals and awesome hand written sentiments.

I looove these dainty florals :) and embossing them onto the vellum makes them look delicate, soft and pretty. I also made a gift card envelope and some pins. This collection has some gorgeous patterned papers too.
I embossed the sentiment using this beautiful Rose Gold Glitter embossing powder by WOW!

It's Monday and that calls for more inspiration on the Waffle Flower Challenge Blog. This month we challenge you to use "INLAID die-cutting" in your creations. There are so many ways to use this technique....looking forward to see your creations. We have some Gorgeous creations by some of the talented ladies and we still have time so, hope you will join us.

I used the Bowtiful Die set and Lotus Stamp set to create my card. I die-cut the bows using scraps of patterned papers. Then I die-cut them onto my mat layer. Love the inlaid die-cutting technique, it gives such a wonderful effect :)

Hello everyone!

Today I am sharing a project using the new "LumberJack Days" by Richard Garay. This is a fun, trendy, masculine theme line with a touch of Romantic side. It has lovely floral dies too and I used those to create my project for today. 

Here I have a step by step photo tutorial for you :)

Mark the flowers using the dies, so we can sponge inks.

Once sponged, die-cut them. Add Journey Glaze at the edges and add Journey sparkle dust.

Now using the embossing tool attachment of the journey bloom tool, emboss the flower petals for some 3D effect.

Adhere the silver metal dot in the center. and the flower is ready.

Die-cut the banner shape and apply journey glaze and the sparkle dust to the edges.

Stamp and emboss the sentiment. I used masking as I just used part of the sentiment. Cut a banner strip and assemble everything as the photo above.

I also decorated the lid of my jar.

Die-cut whipped cream cardstock. Sponge inks to 2 of the rings. Stamp and emboss the sentiment. I used only Love You part from the sentiment. By masking the sentiment I get more use out of it :)

Hello everyone!

Today I am sharing a project using the new "Celebrations" by Richard Garay. This is a fun, trendy colorful line. You can check the catalog HERE. 

I created some felt heart keychains with my daughter to gift her friends. Well, the little girls hang these on their school bags and Etui (Pencil pouch) :) 

I used the smallest of the Heart dies to die-cut felt, stitched 2 of them together and filled some filling material before fully closing it. Then I just added some beads and the cute little hangings are done.

Then, I was just going through the patterned papers for my photo backdrop and I came across this beautiful paper with lots of hearts from the  "Celebrations Special Occasion Prints"....and I ended up with a card too :) Using parts of the patterned paper we sure can create our focal point!

I used the heart dies to die-cut a single heart from the patterned paper. 

Then, using the smallest of the pierced heart in the center to create some dimension. Sponge the edges.

Apply FSJ Glaze and let dry.

Make a cardbase using Whip Cream cardstock. Cut a mat layer.

Sponge some ink onto the mat layer and apply embossing paste through a stencil. Add some glitter. Let dry.

Die-cut the word "Love" using gold foil CS.

Assemble everything together as per the photo.

I used Captivating Coral CS from the assorted solids pack and adhered to the cardbase, before adhering the mat layer.

Magic could be ANYWHERE!

Hello everyone and Happy Friday!!

Today, I am sharing a card, which I made for Taylored Expressions Blog. 

When you were a little girl, did you dream of Magic, Fairies, and Fairyland? Well I did and they still fascinate me! So when I saw the "Under the Flower"  stamp and die set, I was drawn towards it and the little girl in me started playing with it as soon as I got it...lol

I am so happy that it came out exactly how I had imagined. Check out the Taylored Expressions Blog for lots of close-up photos and supplies I used.

Watercolor!!

Hello everyone, I recently took the new Online Card Class "Watercolor for Intermediate" By Dawn of WPlus9....AND it's simply awesome! I can't recommend it enough. There is so much to learn and Dawn is an excellent teacher and makes it look so easy. Un-fortunately we had Flu in our house, so I couldn't play along each lesson but I will soon be creating a lot :)

So here are my creations from Day 1 and Day 5. I couldn't turn them into cards but they look so pretty in real life. I can easily frame these :)

I used my circle dies for this, can you tell :)

For my 2nd. piece I used various brush strokes. I realized, I need to get some good brushes soon :)

Now Day 5 was all about expressive flowers. I just used some color here and there and it looks like Roses or Ranunculus flower...I don't know but it looks like a flower :) what do you think?

Just Because!

Hello everyone! Today, I want to share a card which I made for Taylored Expressions Blog. Now , I love this card...why? Simply because I loooove ROSES!

I love Rose in any color, shape but mostly with fragrance :) I have so many different kinds of roses in my garden :)

AND, I really like the Simply Stamped Roses by TE. It stamps in layers and gives beautiful result.
