Hello everyone! I am on the Pinkfresh Blog today with a fun-fold card. The inspiration came from the pot in the Herb Garden product suite. This card stand perfectly on the desk and fits in the normal A2 size envelope. I don't really know what this fun-fold is called though.
I used the Herb Garden stencils and Herb Garden dies, Beautiful Botanicals stamp, Beautiful Botanicals Stencils and Beautiful Botanicals dies, Basic Sentiment dies from the new release, along with the Dotted Petals press plate.
To start, I created a cardbase out of white card measuring 4 1/4th by 5
3/8th inches. Score at 3/4th inch from both the ends of 5 3/8th side.
Cut two bands measuring 1 1/4th by 7 inches. Score at 3/4th, 2 1/2, 4
1/2, 6 1/4th inches. These will be the top and bottom parts of the card
front.
Sponge a white panel (4 1/2 by 4 1/4th inch) onto the 4 1/2 inch side using Sky Blue ink to create an ombre effect. Cut 3 pieces from this (two 1/2, 3 1/2). Adhere to the back panel.
Create a textured panel using Dotted Petals press plate and run it through the letterpress system without adding the ink. Cut small stripes to add to the blocks of both the bands.

Adhere
the first scored area of the band to the back of the inked panel to the
left side on to the top part, adhere the last scored panel of the band
behind the top right. In the similar way adhere the lower band and the
cardbase is ready.
Sponge inks (Warm Buff, Doe, Espresso, Berrylicious) through the Herb Garden stencils for the pot part. Die-cut using the Herb Garden dies.
Stamp the images from the Beautiful Botanicals stamp set using Detail Black ink, add inks (Bubble Gum, Raspberry Bliss, Lemon Whip, Mimosa, Candy Violet, Summer Shower, Berrylicious, Mango Sorbet, Key Lime, Emerald City) to add color using the Beautiful Botanicals Stencils. Die-cut using the Beautiful Botanicals dies.

Make
a cut using a craft knife to the curve of the pot. Adhere the florals
as per your liking. Add some die-cut vellum leaves using the Curvy Leaves dies.
Adhere the pot to the center panel of the lower band and the fun fold card is finished.
Die-cut a sentiment using the Basic Sentiment dies from Essentials Glitter Cardstock: Candy Violet. Adhere to the pot.
It looks really pretty in real life. I have a video for this card, which I will be adding a bit later. Thank you for dropping by and have a nice weekend!
