Go Confidently – Mixed Media Art Journal Page

Hello crafty friends!

Today I’m sharing a mixed media art journal page inspired by the simple reminder to go confidently in the direction of your dreams. I love creating pages like this where texture, color, and small focal elements come together in a relaxed and expressive way.

It's been some time that I worked on my journal and I realised how much I use to love creating them. Playing with layers after layers help me relax and soothe me in a special way! I used some products from my stash for this one. Mostly are from Sizzix and Tim Holtz

For the background, I started by building layers using soft blue, coral, yellow and teal tones with a mix of blending, splatters, and subtle texture to create depth. Mixed media backgrounds are one of my favorite ways to experiment because every layer adds a little more character to the page.

The focal point of the page is a cluster of soft pink flowers with bright yellow centers, arranged diagonally across the journal page. I added delicate green foliage behind the flowers to create movement and help guide the eye across the design.

To finish the page, I added sentiment strips that read “Go confidently in the direction of your dreams.” Breaking the quote into separate strips helps create balance across the page while keeping the design visually interesting.

Art journaling is such a wonderful way to play with color and texture without worrying about perfection. Each page becomes a small creative moment captured in your journal.
