Pinkfresh Studio - 2 Easy Christmas Cards with One Cover Die: Square Play, Used in an Unexpected Way

Hello friends! today I’m sharing two Christmas cards made with the Square Play cover die from Pinkfresh Studio, used in a way you might not expect!

Normally a cover die covers the whole card front. This time I cut the die-cut panel into smaller pieces and used only parts of the grid. My first card has a long strip of squares running down the card, filled with ink-blended pieces in red, pink, aqua and sage, plus a little gold glitter. Watercolor-style greenery die cut from the Season’s Sprigs washi tape and a “Season’s Greetings” sentiment finish it off. It’s clean and modern, and so easy to make in a batch!

I have linked the supplies below. I have used affiliate links, which earn me some commission at no extra cost to you. I appreciate YOU :)

My favorite trick? I put an adhesive sheet on the back of the inked panels before die cutting, so every little square works like a sticker. Just peel and stick!

For the second card, I spaced the grid pieces apart for a playful “broken grid” look, framed with a cozy red card base. The best part? Both cards use pieces from just one die-cut panel, so nothing goes to waste.

Which card is your favorite, the clean and modern one or the broken grid? Let me know in the comments!

Thank you so much for stopping by, and happy crafting! 🎄
