Made this card just in time for the Challenge at Annabelle Stamps... It was to not use any Pattern paper. I was itching to ink this image for some time now and exactly knew how my card should look like. Focusing on this pretty stamp given to me by Andrea. Thanks again Andrea. I Embossed it with white ep. Distressed the background with some distress inks and spritzt with some gold perfect pearl. Its so difficult to capture it in the photo but trust me, it looks cool. I stamped my HA butterfly stamp and colored it with distress ink too and some pearly water. To finish some twine and faux stitching.

Oops!! I shrunked the Images...

Me again...Oh it nice to create so many in a day but I dont have time the rest of the week, so I think its fine. Here are my cards with Shrink plastic again...Oh !! I am loving it so much, its really a fun technique....

So for my first card, I stamped the Penguin stamps from Heroarts on Shrink plastic, colored them with pencils...shrunk them( thats the fun part). I then cut a square on front of my card and put aborder around with glitter. I then made my scene on some watercolor paper with watercolor, stamped the snowflakes in silver, put some more glitter for snowy effect and stuck my Pingus( thats what my little one calls them in German). For the finishing touches some Rhinestones, string from Pizzazz Aplenty
Since the colors are perfect with the challenge at Paper play, I am taking part there.

Ink: Tsukineko, Ranger & Brilliance Stamps:  Hero arts, Rhinestones
I hope my Pingu are seen better in the closeup view.

Now to the 2nd. card. I stamped the Magical bg stamp white on white. I then stamped my images on Red paper and colored with pencil. I love coloring on colored paper. Then hung my shrunk ornaments, this time stamped them with Gold ink. Beautiful in real life. To finish tied a cord with 1 ornament and embossed my sentiment with gold ep and some Rhinestones.Since this card is perfect for the challenge at The Ribbon Girl.... I am posting it there.
Ink and EP: Ranger, Tsukineko Stamps. HA
Thanks for the patience tonight and hope you enjoyed as much as I did.

Christmas Cards

So dear friends, here I share with you all my new creations. I have to say this is going to be a long post, so please bear with me. I made some after seeing This video from Jennifer....isnt she Adorable. Another is my use of Shrink plastic, which I brought for my daughter and I so liked it....that 1 sheet ended up here...lol.

For the 1st. card I stamped the Music background, which was a gift from Linda...thanks Linda...love it. I then clear embossed the Poinsettia flower. Then added some Distress inks to give the color. Love the effect. Then followed by some glitter, Ribbon etc. Now I want to also tell you that if you like Ribbons and pearls and Rhinestones...go and check at Pizzazza Aplenty. She has lovely collection of flat back pearls and Rhinestone, cords etc and the prices are just perfect. I am taking part for the challenge at The Ribbon... as the theme is Red and green.

Stamps: HA, PP: DCWV, Inks & Stickels:  Ranger
My 2nd. card is again from Jennifers Video. I stamped the Christmas House, colored with Copic and pencils...put some flock, glitter, glossy accent. Then I embossed the Music BG again with white ep but this time partially, keeping in mind not to emboss over my House. Then I colored the edges with 4 colors of distress inks. For the final touches, made this Deer image with Shrink plastic...lovely effect ( its like magic when it shrinks) and some Silver pearls.

Inks, glossy accent and ep: Ranger& Tsukineko, Stamps: HA

Now for this card I took the sketch from CardPatterns sketch #86
For my interpretation, I made this window panels by using the distress ink in blues and grey and spritzt some perfect pearls. I then stamped the Pine trees with Distress ink and clear embossed it. For the star used some white HA chalk ink. Then I stamped this house, colored with pencils, put some Glitter and glossy accent and adhered on the panels. Now the fun part. Made this hanging bulbs to decorate the window, with shrink plastic again...it looks like glass. I hope you can see it better in the closeup view.

Hope you like these, Thanks for visiting. 2 more cards coming up soon ;)

Something to share

Hello friends...I know ...I know...its been few days without any post. Well no excuses but since I am still learning the Blog world, sometimes it gets difficult to manage everything. I sure would like some tips on reducing the time I spent on taking the photo  to working on it...resizing and then finally posting it here and on Flickr.
Anyhow I want to share these yummy goodies I got from Monika along with these two lovely cards. Thanks a ton Monika, you really made my day.

Music Note paper, stamped images ( lots of them )

Well, yesterday I made my first shaker card and I am so impressed by the beauty that today I made another one. This looks so cool in real. There is a cool challenge called Jolly Holiday Greetings Challenge in the Moxie Fab World. Make sure you go and check it out.
The colors are from another of my favorites PDCC Challenge.

I stamped the Heroarts Holly cling stamp o Kraft paper and colored it using my pencils. Then put some glossy accents on the berries. I then stamped few snowflakes on a my main card and the Kraft paper with Holly. Cut the window...put some glitter inside and here I show you my card.

May be the closeup shows all the glitter better. Now I am entering this card for the following challenges too.

Halloween card

I made this Halloween pumpkin card but couldnot share it with you all. Anyhow here it is. I did some distressing and the covered the eyes with glossy accent, then distressed some more and kissed using the Grid pattern stamp and spritzt with pearl water. For the stem, I distress again and then kissed using the woodgrain stamp...love the effect...This goes perfect with the theme at Simon Says...

See the glowing effect because of the glossy accent. It gives the effect of the Lantern we make at the kids school for a tradition ( Laternenumzug ) here in Switzerland.

Now the stem has something attached to it and its visible only in the other photo.

Shaker Card

Today I made my very first shaker card....Well Andrea from Annabelle Stamps had sent me some lovely stamp and other goodies. I have to say they are really good quality and the stamped images are fine and crisp. So I used this cute doggy stamp and made this card keeping the challenge theme in my mind, for my daughters friends B'day. Thanks Andrea.

I stamped the background using  Hero Arts Canvas bg stamp with white ink and made the shaker window. I hope you can see the tiny beads I put in the closeup.

WCMD

Happy cardmaking day...Sorry friends but this is my first WCMD and I couldnot make anything yesterday. So here is something I made today to share with you all.
I stamped the flower on watercolor paper and colored it with distress ink, watercolor pencil and perfect pearl water. Then I stamped the grid border Heroarts BG stamp on the grey green paper with white ink and adhered it on to the card with 3D foam. I adrhered the flower using 3D foam too. Finished the card with some blings and a SRM sticker. It was difficult to capture the pearly shine , I hope its seen better in the closeup.

Christmas Cards....

Two posts in one day...wow...can't complain now. Anyway I was in CAS mood today and made these 2 cards. Now they are perfect for the following challenges.
The challenge at Caardvarks is so tempting cos they have my favorite HA stamps for the lucky winner ;)
The Jolly Holly challenge at Moxie fab, All Sorts Challenge Blog and My Partner in Crafting...
Sorry for the photos as we have had bad weather the whole day...
For the first card I  used my new Christmas HA stamp. Love the swirl tree. Embossed it using the bronze ep on Kraft . Adhered on a Red card. For the finishing touches I put some bling and did the edging with some white ink. It gives a cool effect.

For the second card I masked and then stamped the Canvas BG stamp with peeled paint distress ink. Then I put some scoretape and put glitter on it. The lovely flowers are Heroarts given to me by Linda. For the finishing touches...some bling and shaded green thread, distressed edges and Stickles.
Hope you like my cards. TFL.

Scallop Gallop

Hello friends, its been a while since I could be creative and it was so hard cos I have few new stamps starring at me but I just could not....lolI created this card for the Offset Scallop Gallop Challenge in the Moxie Fab World blog which challenges you to create something using offset scalloped designs.

To make this card I used my Papertrey yummy chocolate paper as base and clear embossed it using HA Woodgrain BG stamp. Since its a square card, it goes perfect with the current challenge at Papertrey.
I then stamped the scallop edge stamp and the flowers etc. Colored everything and then put some glossy accent here n there. Then I distressed the edges with some Tumbled glass ink and again distressed with a distresser to give the torn edge effect. Adhered the center with 3D foam pads....
Hope the closeup shows it better. Because the colors are all Autumn, I am posting it for the challenge at Tuesday Taggers too.
