Advent Calendar Extravaganza with Taheerah Atchia

Hello everyone!

Today, I am absolutely delighted to be part of Advent Calendar Extravaganza with Taheerah Atchia! This truly is a fun event for card-making bloggers. I hope you take the time to check this event out. Not only I get inspiration from this event, you will also have lots and lots of chance to win a prize!!

About Advent Calendar Extravaganza: the festive event of the season! This "hop with a twist" was dreamed up by Taheera Atchia and features surprise destinations each day joining in the fun with Taheerah are ONE HUNDRED special guests-each serving up some fantastic Christmas inspiration. Just like an Advent Calendar, you'll never know where you're going to be visiting until you "open the door"! And that's not all! With 25 AMAZING sponsors taking part as well, your crafty wish list is bound to get a boost with a chance to win a prize EVERY SINGLE DAY!! Join the fun every day at
to see what special surprises await behind the door!

For the 1st. card, I used SugarCuts: Stitched Flags, Simple Numbers, Beautiful Bauble and Stamp: Funky Wreath: Christmas, Seasons Greetings. I stamped the image and colored the leaves and berries loosely using watercolors. I then flicked some gold mist and red ink.

Then I stamped and embossed the sentiment onto vellum, die-cut it. I die-cut one more circle and adhered it behind the circle with sentiment, so the sentiment is more visible.
to finish, I tied the twine and adhered the banners with numbers 2 and 5

For my 2nd. card, I used SugarCuts: Stitched Flags, Simple Numbers and Stamp: Funky Wreath: Christmas, Seasons Greetings. I just stamped the bow using Kaleidacolor ink to dive some dimension and color variation. I then flicked some Gold color spray and stamped the sentiment.

I then die-cut the banners and the number 25. To finish, I wrapped the jute twine around the panel.

It's not a party without a prize- and prizes every day there are several chance to win. Today's prize is generously sponsored by the Awesome Concord&9th, so you'll definitely want to win. Simply leave a comment on this post-then head back to Taheerah's blog and leave a comment there, too. You must leave a comment on Taheerah's blog as well as mine in order to be eligible to win! Don't forget to grab the other surprise destinations from Taheerah's blog and head over to them to leave comments there as well to improve your odds even more. You have until 23:59 EST on 31st December 2016 to enter.
