Stamperia - A Little Journey Into Wonderland

Today I’m sharing a magical mixed media journal spread created with the beautiful Wonderland collection by Stamperia. The moment I saw this collection, I completely fell in love with the dreamy fairies, soft pastel tones, whimsical florals, butterflies, and enchanting fantasy elements. It truly feels like stepping into a magical storybook world and the little girl in me loves it so much :)

For this spread, I wanted to create something soft, layered, and full of imagination — It feels like a window between clouds to me and I am dreaming about this story...almost like a dreamy little fairytale captured inside my journal pages.

I began by building the background with soft washes of turquoise, pink, and hints of warm yellow tones to create that magical glowing effect. I added texture using stencils, splatters, and layered mixed media details to give the pages more depth and movement.

The beautiful fairy sitting on the swing instantly became the focal point of the right page. I surrounded her with florals, butterflies, and soft embellishments to create an airy, whimsical scene. On the left page, I added the majestic unicorn along with layered flowers and castle elements to continue the fantasy theme across both pages.

I also love how the tiny sentiments bring the whole composition together:

“Laughter twinkles in the air”

“Life itself is the most wonderful fairy tale”

Those little phrases perfectly capture the feeling of this entire spread.
