Pinkfresh Studio “Gather & Bloom” Release Blog Hop

Hello crafty friends! and welcome to the Pinkfresh Studio “Gather and Bloom” Release Blog Hop today.

Patchwork Dreams: Bold, Festive & Pastel
There’s always one product in every release that I keep reaching for, and this time it was Heirloom Patchwork coverplate die and stencils. It has the charm of a hand-stitched quilt, but what really won me over is how it transforms with color. Bold, festive or soft and dreamy, it adapts to whatever mood you’re in. Today I’m sharing five cards that prove it, and at the end I’ll show you where to watch exactly how I made them.
In my video, I will be sharing lots of possibilities with this combo, I am sorry but the editing is not over yet.

My first card is all about vibrant florals.

I die cut a crisp white patchwork panel and layered it over pink, so tiny diamonds of color peek through the stitched lines.

In the center, the Sweet Blooms Die and Stencil flowers in hot pink, coral and sky blue rest on a softly ink-blended frame.

A few sparkling droplets and a simple “thinking of you” sentiment from the Petite Florals bring it all together. It’s cheerful, fresh and just a little bit dramatic.

A Pastel Dream

And, the cards that made me smile the most. I blended the patchwork in sky blue, mimosa, lemon whip, and sparkling pink for a soft rainbow effect, then added colored florals from Heirloom Cottage.

On this card, I cut the patchwork pattern in the center. then added florals tucked into an open window.

On the other, a used the cut rectangle piece from the card one panel, adhere on a white embossed panel for a lighter, more airy look. Same stencil, two completely different personalities.

A Soft & Merry Christmas

Next, I wanted to see how patchwork would feel for the holidays, and I’m so happy with the result and it combines beautifully from the previously released Seasonal Sprigs washi.

I ink blended the pattern in peony, sage and ocean breeze inks for a modern twist on traditional Christmas colors, then grounded it with rich red. The Seasonal Sprigs greenery adds an elegant, botanical touch. This card features a cascading spray across the center, while the other frames the patchwork with a full wreath and a hint of gold glitter. They feel festive without being expected.

Watch It Come Together
Photos only tell part of the story. In my video, I walk you through how I ink blended these patchwork panels, how I got such smooth color transitions, and a few little tricks that make layering stencils so much easier. If you’ve ever wondered how to get that soft, seamless blend, this one is for you.
