Studio Katia Winter 2019 Release Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Studio Katia Winter release blog hop!
This release includes 6 New Clear Stamp Sets and 4 Sets of Coordinating Dies, 4 New Stand Alone Creative Dies, 3 New Stencils and 2 New Glitter Jars!

You should have arrived from Kaja Vezenšek's blog and Ilda Dias is your next stop. If you get lost you can find the full hop list below or visit Studio Katia Blog!

For my card, I decided to use the stencil and highlight this GORGEOUS glitter from the new release.

I started by sponging some inks to a piece of white cardstock using the new blending brushes....I HAVE to tell you they are amazing. Perfect size and that the brush head is white so it's easy to see the colors on them. The soft bristles make it super easy to blend seamless.
I then placed the stencil on top and sponged some more inks. I then took a little transluscent embossing paste, mixed some sparkle glitter to it and applied a thin coating of this. Let this dry.

Now, I die-cut the window using the new cover die and adhered the center hexagon to its place on the cardbase. I then adhered vellum from behind to the mat layer and adhered it to the cardbase. I die-cut the word "Merry" 4 times and stacked them together. Adhered it to the panel. stamped the word Christmas and adhered the stripe. This card looks really pretty in real life. Full of sparkle.

I'm seeing a lot of non-traditional colors this year. This is great use of inks, paste, and glitter. I like that the cover die includes this shaped die.

This is so pretty! I commented on this card already in Instagram, but I have to say, seeing the coloured snowflakes against the same colour of ink blended into the background makes it clear how versatile this stencil is for used beyond Christmas. Gorgeous!

I love the pastel colors on your card and I love the way you used a little bit of sparkle. Something different from the typical snow card.
