Dance Some More!!!
Hello Everyone!!!!
I'm super excited to share this news with you all: I'm part of the Lil' Inker Designs Core Team!! :D Thanks, Laura! Alyssa is also joining the team with me. We are welcoming a new team member as well. She's is the very talented Taheerah!
Today, we're having a fun summer blog hop challenge. We have a bright and happy inspiration photo. You should have arrived here from Debby Hughes blog, if not than go to Laura's blog to start from the beginning.
Today I made a flip flop/swing card inspired by the colors, clouds and flip flops. I die cut the clouds and small sun die and used them as mask, inked the panel and stamped the sentiment. For the back panel, I inked to give the effect of sea shore. Inked the water, sand. Flicked some water for the Sea effect, and misted some gold shimmer on the sand. I die cut the flip flop, stamped the background using versamark ink and applied some perfect pearl powder. To finish I just put splatter all over. It's so much fun to create interactive cards.
The next stop on the hop is Jen Carter's blog. She has a wonderful creation to inspire you.
To participate all you have to do is to use the photo as an inspiration and create a project/card using Lil' Inker Designs goodies as a focal image. However, they do not have to be used exclusively. Upload your project to your blog along with the inspiration photo above and tell us how you were inspired to create your project.
Then, upload your project using a direct link to your post and the Linky Tool provided HERE and have FUN!!!

Hambo: You're Chimply The Best
Hello Everyone!!! It's Wednesday and that means time for yet another challenge at Hambo Hoedown Challenge. This time we challenge you to create a card and you have to use punches!!!
For my card, I used the Digi "Monkey Vine" image. I used my punch with a twist. I used my corner punch to round the edges...lol
There is something special coming for you to have fun with. On Friday, May 24, Hambo will be having a customer inclusive blog hop. The theme is “THE BATTLE OF THE BANDS” where we will be showcasing Hambo clear, rubber and digi images. Using any Hambo image, create a project that represents and depicts the name of a (professional) band! Maybe it’s your favorite group, or maybe it’s one that you don’t even like! Whatever it is, we want to see your BAND NAME creations! You do not need to have the Band name on your card or project, but please put it in your post.
TO SIGN UP, please send an email to hambodesignteam@gmail.com with“BLOG HOP” in the title BY MAY 15, then you will receive all the low-down on how to participate!
Hope to see you at the Hoedown!!!

Happy for this Moment
Today is an official holiday here and the kids have no school tomorrow too.
So, when everyone was doing their own thing today, as it was raining non-stop. I also had some fun playing with Tim Holtz distress markers and water. I did some fun water-coloring...lol.
I love the theme over at Penny Black blog "For Family" and at Moxie Fab World "Wonder of Watercolor". So, I created something other than card. I created something for a wall frame and will put it on my daughter's room :), cos she wants it...lol
I stamped the Penny Black "Nature's Day" Stamp and colored it using distress markers and watercolors. I then doodled a bit in the background and watercolored the edges, Finally finished it with some fun splatters. Love love the happy feel. I did not have a perfect sentiment, so just wrote it by hand. Here is my creation before and after I framed.
Celebrate!!
Here I am back again with another card. I have to post it today as we have a long weekend here and kids will be home for 4 days now. I do plan to create with them but sometimes we change our plans depending on the weather.
I created this card for the challenges at:
