Hello and welcome to the April release Blog Hop by Altenew.
I absolutely love the new concept they came up with for the layering dies....in one word GORGEOUS and I had so much fun playing with these :) You might have come here from the talented Sveta Fotinia's blog
For my first card I used the "Layered Floral Cover die A and Layered Floral Cover die B" layering dies. These dies make it so easy to give dimension to the project and it's so much fun too :) Click on the links to check out the products I used!
I first cut the outer layer and colored it. I then cut the layer which comes underneath the top layer and colored it using Zig clean color real brush markers. I then adhered both the layers together and it looks so cool :)
For my 2nd. and 3rd. card I only used one of the layers from the "Layered Medallions cover dies B" layering dies. I used the positive and negative both to create my card.
Card 2
First I sponged some inks to the layer. I then die-cut the Layered Medallions cover dies B and used it as stencil to apply more color to the mat layer. I then spritz some shimmer spray and let this piece dry. Don't throw away the die-cut piece we used as stencil...I used it to create my 3rd card :)
To create the sentiment, I used this awesome alphabet die set "In-Line Alpha die set". Love love love it. I colored the letters using copic markers and adhered to a vellum stripe.
Here, I used the die-cut piece from above to create the card. Looks so pretty and shimmery in real life.
