Mandala Design
Hello friends,
Blogger betrayed me as I had written a scheduled post which didnt work. I want to wish you all a belated holiday wishes and hope everyone had a fun time. Its a busy time as everyone has holidays till the 3rd...lol so I am enjoying it with hubby and kids...No cards therefore.
I got the cute Lawn Fawn stamp from my win. Thanks Kelly. My elder daughter played with it and made this cute tag for the texture challenge at Lawnscaping blog. She also wants to submit for the challenge at Wee memories and Simonsays... blog because the theme is anything goes.
She loves making Mandala and thats what she chose to create with the Lawn Fawn stamps "Say cheese and Love n Breakfast".
It has so many lovely textures:
The canvas embossed background, glitter in 2 different shades, glossy accents, the cupcake paper has a lovely texture as it is crumpled and then paper pieced and lastly the ruffled ribbon on the edges. Oh!! I feel so proud of her. Here is the tag and the closeup:
I am sure she is going to check my blog for comments on her creation;)

Runaway Inspired#1
Challenge inspired by Fashion...COOL... huh!!! Yes that's the new challenge blog called "Inspired By Fashion"
This is the very first inspiration photo.
I stamped the background using the stamp blocking technique. For the sequins, since its handwork, which is not always perfect, I made the flower using perfect pearl and some faux stitching. The sentiment is stamped with yellow and then clear embossed. Love the effect.
I am also submitting this for the challenge at All sort Challenge Blog: take 2 colors- I've used grey and yellow
Thanks for dropping by.

PS Sparks
I want to share these cards I made for the Paper Smooches Sparks challenge. I really liked the inspiration photo as soon as I saw it. So even thou I love their stamps, I used the free digi Paper Smooches offers as I dont own any of their stamps yet:)
My first thought was that Damask pattern in Oval frame on the powder blue wall which has kind of texture on the lower part. Then the additional colors: yellow and dark blue. I used some embossing for the texture, some resist on glossy paper, which actually came out really nice, chk. the damask background. I then scaled down the digi flower and used 3D foam for extra dimension and glossy accent in the flower centers.
The 2nd. thing which caught my attention in the photo is the table runner. So to give the texture and cloth feel, I did some hand embroidery. Again, the flowers were scaled down and colored using Copics.
This is my first time participating in the Paper smooches challenge. Pls. click on the photos for a clear view. I hope you like my creations as much as I enjoyed creating them.
I am submitting these for the challenge at All sorts Challenge Blog - I used blue and yellow color here.
TFL :)

Poppin by to say Hi...
After seeing this challenge at Moxie fab World, I thought, that I really create Hello or Thinking of you cards but since the challenge was up...I was all busy in creating Christmas cards.
The stamps are all Hero Arts, which I colored using Copics. I used the Alphabet set to make my sentiment.
Thanks for dropping by and letting me know what you think.
Let's Chill
Today I happen to think about summer as its been quite bad weather here. We are waiting for snow but it's rather raining all the time and the temperature is still hasn't reached negative. Warmest Nov. and December so far. So I started thinking about cocktails and then quickly whipped up this card. I am submitting it for the challenge at Moxie Fab World...cos I chose Alcoholic beverage...ha ha. Pls. click on the photo for a better view.
I used the stamps from Hero Arts and colored the images using Copics. It was so much fun.
Thanks for dropping by and leaving your love.
I am submitting this card for the challenge at Varna's blog.

Christmas Cards
Well yesterday I made some Christmas cards using a new set from my win. Its a Jane Doodles stamp set called Vintage Santa. Love it and the quality is amazing. Thanks Judith for sending me a lovely gift.
I got the inspiration by the photo at Simon says challenge blog, Santa, Music notes CAS and also Vintage. I am submitting these for the challenge at Wee Memories as its Free for all:) and The young crafters challenge blog which is to use dies.
I kept my first card CAS as I wanted this gorgeous image to speak for itself. I used pencil colors to color it.
My second card is a bit vintage. I colored the image with water colors and then some cracked glass effect. To finish some machine stitching.
Love both of them and hope you like them too. Thanks for dropping by and do write what you think.

Hello friends, today I want to share this Christmas card, I made for the new challenge blog at Scraphouse. This challenge is very special to me, you wonder why???

I used the pattern paper (Basic Grey) which was actually recommended by Marjolein cos I didnt even have idea of any of the companies...lol
I am also submitting it for another favorite blog of mine. The Young Crafters challenge blog which is to use dies, which I used for the snowflakes.
I used some puffy paint with glitter on the cap, which looks beautiful in real. I hope you will like this card as much as I enjoyed making it.

Have a Colorful Christmas...
Yup!!! Colorful Christmas...you will know why in a few seconds. I had this Hero Arts stamp out for a week now and today while cleaning my table...I saw the blings and the inspiration hit me. I started to play like a child with all the colors I have and really love the outcome.
There is lots of texture going on so its perfect for the challenge at the Lily Pad blog.
I stamped the music bg stamp using white ink onto Kraft card. For the center panel, I added some distress inks and embossed the tree stamp with Champagne ep.The red strips are distressed with red ink and the lots of pearl water. For the snow I tore some white paper, distressed the edges and used some distress inks. For the glitter and shine all over I used perfect pearls and stickles.
To finish off loads of blings and a small snow flake stamp. I am submitting it for the following challenges:
CMIT Featured Designer Challenge
Heidi'sHobbystuggu: Christmas cards with bling
Hope you like my card. TFL

Black / White and....
...Lime. Lovely combo and it inspired me to create a card with my new Annabelle flower stamp. It was partly from my win at their blog in September. So with a touch of color and some hand stitching I made this card for the challenge at Annabelle blog and Barb's challenge at her blog. I love the simplicity in her inspiration photo.
I love flowers, esp. Lilies...and the white ones have such delicate fragrance too:)
It looks really nice to me IRL and I hope you will like it too.

Thank you
I like making thank you cards. There is so much I am thankful for. Getting a handmade card, I feel, can itself say it all. The love someone puts into making it...is a special feeling to me. The theme at Lawnscaping challenge helped me create yet another Thank you card...its kind of looks like the inspiration photo...lol. I used Quinn's ABC's and lots of different colored flock. It was fun playing with flock and the alphabet stamps.
Talking about thanks, that's the challenge at Simon Says Stamp blog. I also used 3D foam underneath the circles but it was difficult to take photo of. Hope you like it.

Who puts the star???
Well thats what the critters from Lawn Fawn were discussing last time I saw them and then they finally decided....see for yourself...who got to put the Star on the Christmas tree...lol. The Christmas idea came from Vicky's blog, who is having a focus on Lawn Fawn stamps with awesome videos and creations.
Finally that cute little birdie got the chance. I am happy, its like the youngest in the family gets to do so many things. I loved creating this card. Love all the textures and dimension from emboss resist, the Star, the wool on the cap, the snow. I am submitting it for the challenge at Lily pad.
Forever Friends Challenge blog: Christmas theme
Hope you enjoy my creation.

Hello Mousie
I have a habit of saying bye to my hubby and the kids when they go to work/school. Well we all do but I like to open the door and then go out in the fresh air for 5 minutes looking around at the other kids, garden etc. Today when I was out....I did not like the dull weather we are having, its total grey for more than a week now and I see only the dry yellow leaves around. then my friend told me...now you know the reason of our love for candles, tea candles with aroma oil in water etc.
It helps and make a huge difference...it warms my heart and so does my friends and my stamps and craft table...lol.
I love to color and esp. if the images are so sweet as these Penny Black mousies. Perfect for the challenge at Penny Black all sorts blog.
Hope you like it too.

Autumn Birthday
Thank you my friends for being there and supporting me thru the tough times. I saw yesterday that I have to share so many things with you so this is the beginning of one of my many posts to follow...hope you are up for it.
I made this card for my guest DT assignment at Take Time for blog. I have a good friend with Autumn Birthday and she has a passion for all farming related things as she grew up in a lovely Farmhouse. So now you know my inspiration. I chose the sketch from The Crafts Meow blog as this is the set I won from them...thanks Lisa. I used the colors from the Play Date Cafe challenge#107 and of coarse had to use my favorite twine from The Twinery.
Here is the card I created, we have no sun for more than a week now, hence the photo isnt that good:
I am also submitting this card for the challenge at All sorts Challenge blog : black/white plus one. Hope you like it.

Just Saying Hello
As part of my Online Inspiration class with Jennifer, I made this card using two of the techniques. Coloring the embossing folder before embossing and also embossing on Acetate. Its all about dry embossing and I have to say that I just love the effect. I used the lovely sketch from Lily Pad blog. This is my submission at Wee Memories Blog as the challenge is NO pattern paper and Simon says Stamp blog - use of dies or punches
I used Hero Arts Soft Pool Shadow ink on the Birds and Swirls Embossing folder. The Butterflies are cut with a MS Punch. I colored the butterflies using broken china, pine needle, faded jeans, crushed olive and peeled paint distress inks. Love the effect of embossed Acetate and all the dimension. The sentiment is from Hero Arts.
Hope you like what I created. It was so much fun and it looks just amazing in real.
Before I leave, I want you all to know about Vicky's amazing giveaway of 25$ for Simon says Stamp shop. Be sure to pop by her blog to see her amazing cards and videos.
