Spring Flowers

I know its been some time since I shared something on my blog. Well we all had flu again and now I have so many posts to share.
Here the weather is really strange and every 3rd. house has someone down with flu. Hope it's all gonna change soon as I saw the first blooms in my garden today. Finally Spring is here :)

So, here I have a Spring card to share with you all. I used my new Hero Arts Stamps (Etched Daisy and the Thank you sentiment). It's a gift from my win. Thank you Hero Arts!!
I created this background using emboss resist technique and used my Faber Castell Aqurelle pencils to watercolor. I struggled a bit to create the layout of this card as I didn't want to lose the effect of the background using anything over it.  It looks so pretty with all the colors and effect. So the idea popped up and I took the risk to die cut the panel, inked and adhered the frame using 3D foam and used Vellum to write the sentiment on the center part.

Isn't it a lovely CAS card. Hmmm!!! techniques can be simple too. Since it's all about spring, I am submitting it for the following challenges.

Moxie Fab World: Watercolor Challenge
Simon says Challenge: Easter/ Spring
Moxie Fab World challenge: Emphasize the negative (I used Vellum and wrote sentiment on my negative, plus the added bling and translucent effect of the background emphasize it more)

See you tomorrow with some of my recent published creations. Happy Happy :)
