A Set of Cards/ Make Amazing Design Team

Hello everyone!
Today I am sharing a project using the Celebrations Line by Richard Garay.
But first, let's think about the month of November. It reminds me of  the last sunny days of autumn, the falling leaves and of Thanksgiving. Now here in Switzerland, we don't celebrate Thanksgiving but I believe that November is a month to reach out to people you haven't seen/ heard from in a while. To do that, I've created a set of cards!

While creating, I had lots of colorful circles left, so I made a box to keep the cards in. My daughter helped me to create the box template :)

Now, I made a small shaker element but with a twist, it's a clear see through shaker window. It looks really cute in real life. I used the FSJ, Clearview sheets to make my cardbase. Love these sheets as they are crystal clear.

And this is how I created each card:
  1. Make cardbase using Clearview Sheets.
  2. Cut four mat layers (5.25 by 4 inch) out of Whip Cream cardstock per card.
  3. Sponge one panel in gradiation with ink.
  4. Die cut the inked panel and one mat layer using the "Confetti Plate" Die.
  5. Splatter some Gold Silk onto the sponged panel. (Btw, this sparkles in real life)
  6. To create the shaker element, adhere tape liner onto the back around the circle. Adhere a small piece of acetate. Apply Foam Squares around the circle, make sure to leave no gaps. Fill it with the heart confetti.
  7. Adhere Foam Squares all over the back of the sponged layer. Adhere the acetate cardbase onto the panel.
  8. Adhere the second die-cut panel to the back of the front card panel, so that the adhesive won't show through.
  9. Adhere a mat layer to the front and back of the back card panel.
  10. Die cut the word "Love", adhere to the card front.
For the Box: I used the negative left over circles from my inked panel. Created the box and adhered the circles. It's a perfect was to use all the pieces from this wonderful die.

Here are some of the supplies I used.....

And some close-up photos

I hope you enjoyed my project. Thanks for dropping by!
